Personal Blog |The 7st Day

“So the earth, the sky, and everything in them were finished. God finished the work he was doing, so on the seventh day he rested from his work. God blessed the seventh day and made it a holy day. He made it special because on that day he rested from all the work he did while creating the world.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:1-3‬ ‭ERV‬‬

I don’t know if I’m religious or no and honestly I don’t wanna deal with so much information to figure out which one is the best fitting to what I believe in. One thing is sure since I was a child, I believe in a higher power and I usually call it God.

My family was never believer. Or at least not in a way that we ever went to church or talked about creation or anything theological. So I have no idea where this whole thing came from to me. As a kid I found myself always talking to my angel when in need. I was constantly asking for protection at nights from bad dreams of mine, or get me the best presents for Christmas or let me have my mum agree to sleepover at friends… as a child our priorities are a bit different. 😅

Anyway since then this relationship has evolved and I try to follow some suggestions what I believe he would want from me to deliver to him. All with highly variable success rate though. Anyway I’m progressing.🙏🏼

Today is Sunday and I stared the day-among other stuff- with praying for my love. I’m so grateful to God for finding this man who is the cornerstone of everything I do. He is an amazing person who takes every occasion to show me how to be a better human and how to interact with others with such respect and understanding. I really love how he is such a beautiful soul and as I said I thank God for making us a couple. I thank God today for all blessings in my life because honestly I have been really greatly gifted with such amazing people and opportunities in life.

For you -despite being believe or not, I hope at least once a week you take your time to be grateful for something. Gratitude has tremendous positive effect on me every time to swift from this pessimistic and dark mindset. They say that gratitude improves our health, relationships, personality and career. Makes us just happier and more satisfied. Which are – let’s face it – getting more and more difficult nowadays.

This is the 7st day, and my day was really great to had such a good talk with God and a lazy Sunday in my husband-to-be’s company. It was a holy and special day for me and I just wanted to wish to you too to have a positive end of the week.

May God bless you.
