Which Bible Verse is the Most Heart-Breaking to you?

“Then Jesus said to the apostles, “Remember when I sent you out without money, a bag, or sandals? Did you need anything?” The apostles said, “No.””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭22:35‬ ‭ERV‬‬

I chosen this one, because it reminds me that I used to live a life focusing on giving to others, not on making money. And God was always providing to me.

No matter if I had any money or not, I always had a place to sleep or food to eat.

Nowadays I work for the money and then I feel down whenever I have free time…

God didn’t created humans for this…

It’s a reminder for me, for my own weakness and fears in life I still struggle to give up.

Which Bible verse touches your heart the most today?

    1. Yes that is true. And it is really hard because fear is a powerful emotion…

sometimes I ask myself when I’m terrified about something: how could God trust me with the truth of the universe and the ways he planned for me, if I’m so afraid at this moment about something so small? (Like when I fly and the plane is shaking…)

God wants to trust me even with losing my earthbound body and leaving people and places behind for heaven. How can I accept that, if I am not mature enough to trust him in such tiny worrisome situations and let fear take over?

  1. A verse that I always seem to go back to, that really moves me and tugs at my heart strings would be Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” How unfathomable a love that is for a soul like mine! How unconditional. I am so unworthy.

    1. Yes that is so encouraging. It is one of the hardest thing to stop putting conditions in spreading our love to the world. We like to “keep it” and only give to a few people, when love is the only thing on this world which multiplies in you when giving it away.

Thanks for the reminder. I love your positivity. I don’t know exactly from what but I sense such positive, caring person on the other side. Keep smiling, and inspiring us for more love.

      1. I love that! “Love is the only thing on this world which multiplies in you when giving it away.” Very beautiful.
And thank you so much! It means so very much to hear that 💕
